Sushi World

Excited to try the new Hawker-markets inspired food court in Chatswood Westfield, we decided to visit one evening after work. For my dinner, I decided to have some sushi from Sushi World.

Food:
Sushi World has quite a large selection of sushi during normal hours, however as we arrived just before closing, there were not many options remaining. Nevertheless, I did manage to find exactly what I was looking for – Grilled Salmon Aburi and a Mixed Sushi Box, which was exciting!

The Grilled Salmon Aburi was quite fantastic – it was well seared and the sauces it was served with added an extra depth to the flavour which was delicious. The Mixed Sushi Box came with tuna, chicken and salmon, and was also quite delicious. All of the flavours tasted quite fresh and the sushi as a whole was very well put together. Together, the amount of sushi provided was more than enough for a meal.

Ambience:
Sushi World exists in the new food court, which is a fascinating and exciting area! Designed to model a ‘hawker-market’ experience, there are plenty of seats available in the middle surrounded by many stores of different cultures. The wooden seating and the interior lighting all contribute to this mood to create a great effect. The service at Sushi World was friendly and they also offer take-away.

Overall:
Next time you visit Chatswood, make sure to visit the new food court at the bottom of Chatswood Westfield. There are plenty of exciting food options there, of which Sushi World is definitely a solid contender!
