Glass Brasserie

For a more upper-class breakfast than usual, we decided to try the breakfast buffet at Glass Brasserie. Located in the Hilton Hotel on George Street, Glass Brasserie consistently receives amazing reviews and is ranked as one of the best buffets in Sydney. We were therefore incredibly excited to try it and see how it stacked up.

Food:

For breakfast, Glass Brasserie offers either an a la carte menu, or the buffet which we went for. The first thing to note is that the range of food is very extensive. It has all the regular breakfast staples (e.g. eggs, sausages, bacon etc.) but with multiple flavours and options for each one. This however is then supplemented with so many other hot and cold foods, a very extensive range of cereals, baked items, salads, juices and much more.

Without going through each item that we tried (in order to make the experience similarly exciting for you), we would simply note that everything was absolutely amazing! We kept coming back for seconds and thirds, and every dish was full of flavour and very well cooked. Finally, everything was incredibly fresh. No matter what your tastes in breakfast are, you will definitely find many things that you will enjoy in the buffet.

Ambience:

Glass Brasserie is a lovely place, having a stunning interior and friendly staff. The ambience is one of sophistication, especially for a breakfast venue, and very well designed. We found the staff to be incredibly helpful and attentive. Depending on the day and time, Glass Brasserie can get somewhat busy so it is best to make a reservation before!

Conclusion:

Glass Brasserie was simply an amazing experience and one that we will definitely be back to have again. It is on the pricier side of breakfasts however we were very, very impressed and glad to find out that it is worth what you pay and much more.
