The Night Noodle Markets are back in Sydney over the next few weeks, and we stopped by on opening night to soak up the good vibes and try some amazing oriental food! Our first destination – Bao Stop, a creative mix of traditional Asian flavours with modern eats.
Bao Stop has 3 dishes on offer – the Peking Duck Fries, a trio of Baos, and a Chilli Lobster Roll! The baos were incredible, with such a soft and fluffy bun and delicious and well seasoned insides. They come in a set of 3, and were great for sharing! My personal favourite was the pork belly, which was sweet and juicy, and had plenty of finger-lickin’ good sauce! Lovers of Singapore chilli crab will adore the lobster roll, which has the same sweet and spicy sauce, and a really generous portion of lobster meat on a sweet bun, making it the perfect accompaniment to any meal!
Bao Stop is right at the heart of the Noodle Markets, which boast an amazing selection of different foods from waffles on a stick, to yum cha! We enjoyed going around to all of the different stalls and seeing what was on offer, and there’s plenty of seating at tables or even picnic-style on the grass! Bao Stop’s service was super quick and efficient, and the friendly staff delivered the dishes with a smile!
Bao Stop is a must-try pick at this year’s Night Noodle Markets, and you can’t go past the classic baos, which are delicious and have plenty of variety! The Peking Duck fries are also a super popular choice, and the lobster roll is fantastic for spice lovers. We’ll definitely be back for more of their incredible dishes!
